Working principle of expansion valve (throttle valve):

Expansion valve (throttle valve) is a device in refrigeration system to control refrigerant flow by changing throttle section or throttle length. It is usually installed between evaporator and liquid storage tank. The expansion valve (throttle valve) throttles the medium temperature and high pressure liquid refrigerant into low temperature and low pressure wet steam, and then the refrigerant absorbs heat in the evaporator to achieve the refrigeration effect.
