Hangzhou: vigorously promote air source heat pump hot water system

High quality promotes the development of green construction

New building standards should be improved, and efforts should also be made to improve the energy efficiency of existing buildings. 

In 2017, Hangzhou became one of the 28 key cities in China to improve the energy efficiency of public buildings. By the end of 2020, the city had implemented a total of 46 demonstration projects for energy-saving transformation of public buildings, with a transformation area of 3.0832 million square meters, and the average energy-saving rate of the projects was 15.12%, exceeding the task of completing the energy-saving transformation of public buildings of no less than 2.4 million square meters by the end of 2020 assigned by the Ministry of housing and urban rural development.

“The building energy consumption per unit area of public buildings is high, and the energy saving potential is huge. The 46 demonstration projects reconstructed in our city have an annual energy saving of 45.13 million kwh, converted to 14893 tons of standard coal, and reduced carbon dioxide emissions by about 38722 tons.” The relevant person in charge of the Municipal Construction Commission said that during the “14th five year plan” period, Hangzhou will continue to promote the energy efficiency improvement of public buildings and implement energy-saving transformation of public buildings of no less than 4.95 million square meters.

Energy saving transformation is inseparable from the application of renewable energy. It is reported that the local standard “accounting standard for renewable energy applications in civil buildings” will be released and implemented soon, and solar photovoltaic will be developed on a large scale in civil buildings. “Our city aims to achieve a building renewable energy substitution rate of 8% at the end of the 14th Five Year Plan period, with a new renewable energy building application area of 30million square meters, including 2.2 million square meters of demonstration projects, striving to achieve 540000 kW of building solar photovoltaic installed capacity, and vigorously promoting the application of solar photovoltaic systems, air source heat pump hot water systems, ground source heat pump systems, light guide tube lighting systems and other building renewable energy.” The relevant person in charge of the Municipal Construction Commission said.

In addition, accelerating the industrialization of new buildings, promoting the promotion and application of green building materials, and promoting green construction are all powerful measures to help Hangzhou achieve peak carbon neutrality in the construction field.

According to the plan, the city will actively promote the prefabricated construction method, and by 2025, the prefabricated construction will account for 35% of the newly started construction area in the same period; Promote the promotion and application of green building materials in an orderly manner, cultivate 100 green building materials products to obtain certification certificates, and promote the application of 30 demonstration projects; Improve the construction level and the digitalization level of the construction industry, and cultivate 130 green construction demonstration projects.
